The Second World Congress of the Georgian Association of Oncological Urology has concluded, which has already become part of the history of Georgian and world medicine. The first emotions and impressions, which fill both the organizers and the participants of the congress, have not yet subsided. This congress will soon bear its useful fruit for Georgian medicine, and at this stage it can be said that it was a multidisciplinary medical forum of unprecedented scale, attended by the world elite in the fields of oncology and urology.
Organizing events of such scale in the reality of our country is a very difficult task, and this became possible thanks to the great respect of leading doctors from many countries of the world toward the President of the Association of Oncological Urology, Professor Guram Karazanashvili, and the recognition and appreciation of his professionalism. It is precisely the result of Mr. Guram’s personal relationships, his personal merit, and his dedication to his beloved profession that made it possible to hold a congress of such scale in Georgia.
The Karazanashvili Robotic Center was one of the main sponsors of this extremely important event, and the entire staff of our clinic was involved in the organization of the congress.
We would like to thank Mr. Guram Karazanashvili for giving us the opportunity, here in our own country, to personally meet the luminaries of world medicine and to share their experience. Many young doctors dream of such an opportunity.
We also thank the administration of Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University, the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation, and all sponsors who supported the organizers of the congress.
We hope that the experience gained from the world congress will beneficially contribute to our further professional growth and development. Karazanashvili Robotic Center – a clinic of modern technologies, Guram Karazanashvili’s Urogynecological Hub – will continue to operate according to world standards for you, our dear patients.
