Dear Colleagues,
Prostate micro-ultrasound, also known as micro-echography, is a cutting-edge, state-of-the-art technology that has brought a revolutionary transformation to the diagnosis of prostate cancer and other prostate-related diseases.
Micro-ultrasound enhances prostate visualization by 300% compared to conventional ultrasound.
This innovative technology allows us to perform high-precision, targeted prostate biopsies, which have never before been conducted in Georgia or the surrounding region.
When it comes to detecting prostate cancer, the diagnostic accuracy of micro-ultrasound exceeds even that of MRI.
With this technology, it is now possible to examine the prostate at the microscopic level, allowing for the detection of any abnormalities or diseases.
We are pleased to inform you that the Karazanashvili Robotic Center has made an unprecedented investment and introduced the latest 2019 high-resolution micro-ultrasound device – the EV-SYS2HR-220 from Exact Imaging – for the first time in Georgia and the region!
On January 15th, 16th, and 17th, 2020, international experts in micro-ultrasound – Professor Guram Karazanashvili, Professor Andro (Bacha) Dzneladze, and Professor Malkhaz Mizandari – will conduct micro-ultrasound prostate evaluations and targeted biopsies at Karazanashvili Robotic Center.
If you are interested, Karazanashvili Robotic Center invites you to participate in this event. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to register your own patients for prostate ultrasound scans or biopsies, and to actively participate in the diagnostic procedures using the micro-ultrasound system.
To register patients, please email us or contact us during working hours at 223 40 23.
Karazanashvili Robotic Center wishes you a Happy New Year and looks forward to making a significant contribution together to the advancement of Georgian medicine.
