Professor Guram Karazanashvili is currently visiting the Specialized Scientific-Practical Medical Center of Oncology and Radiology of the Republic of Uzbekistan, at the invitation of the Minister of Health of Uzbekistan.
Today, in the center’s conference hall, he delivered a lecture on the topic:
“Radical Cystectomy: Modern Perspectives on Patient Management and Surgical Technique.”
The lecture covered important topics such as indications for the operation, surgical technique, complications, and postoperative patient management.
Later the same day, in the onco-urology department of the scientific center, Professor Karazanashvili performed a live demonstration surgery – a radical nerve-sparing cystectomy.
Guram Karazanashvili’s visit to Uzbekistan marks yet another significant international success for Georgian onco-urology and the Karazanashvili Robotic Center.
